Weekend Look

Today I tested a new nail polish that I purchased from Poundland. I know many may shudder at the very thought but I really love buying these polishes as they are great for experimenting and obviously don't break the bank. I am super impressed with the quality and ease of the brush. The coverage is good, the look below using Make Up Gallery 'Latte 5' only has one coat. It dries really fast too.

The only down side is shine, it definitely needs a good quality top coat to set it off.  In terms of longevity I couldn't commit to it lasting, it does chip easily if not finished with a top coat yet but for a night out this would be perfect. I used Models Own 'Mystic Mauve' for the ombre tip effect.

I guess the moral of the story is don't dismiss a budget friendly brand!
